The latest design update for the N24 Cahir to Limerick Junction and Oola upgrade project will go on public display in the Great National Ballykisteen Golf Hotel near Tipperary Town for two days next week.

Hundreds of property owners along the route are being notified by letter this week of the new public consultation process.

They along with communities and other stakeholders impacted by the road project are invited to consult with the project team by attending the public display of the third design update drawings at the hotel next Tuesday, May 27 from 1pm until 8pm and on Wednesday, May 28 from 10am until 8pm.

The updated design for the active travel and road components of the project will also be published on www.n24cahirlimerick.ie from 1pm on Tuesday, May 27.

The design update of the Preferred Transport Solution for this section of the N24 route takes account of the results from site surveys including geotechnical investigations, topographical surveys and environmental surveys as well as feedback from landowners.

Tipperary County Council said the design drawings will be indicative only and subject to change as part of the ongoing design refinement process.
