Under the plans, the club will retire its current tennis courts and install three roofed padel courts. A shared concourse with a dedicated viewing space will link the new courts and is intended to provide a more comfortable setting for both players and supporters.
The project extends beyond the sporting facilities. The community centre that hosts the club is also set for improvement, with proposals to enlarge and modernise the childcare facility as well as to upgrade the multi purpose room. According to the club, these changes will strengthen the centre’s function as a focal point for local groups.
Club members say the redevelopment will not only meet the needs of those already involved but also draw newcomers, reflecting the rising popularity of padel tennis and growing demand for community based amenities.
