Mr Burns, who had intended to retire, is remaining on board temporarily to assist the Dalton team during the transition.

The Daltons, both born and raised in Tipperary Town, plan to expand their operations later this year with a new bathroom showroom in the former Pit Stop Tyres building on the Link Road.

The business is encouraging local residents and tradespeople to follow its Facebook page and engage with posts to help establish a presence in the town.

For enquiries on plumbing or bathroom products, the team can be contacted by telephone at (062) 52964 or via email at paddy@daltonplumbing.ie.
