Winter weather has arrived with chilly force across South Tipperary this week – but while we may be shivering we are all enjoying the beautiful, snow-capped mountains around us!
Two photos from the Knockmealdowns this weekend show the beauty of the landscape.
Our main photo above is courtesy of the Peaks Mountaineering Club in Clonmel whose members braved the chilly conditions for their usual trek.
The picture below shows the County Boundary wall on Knocknagnauv leading to Knockmealdown in the distance.
Both photographs were taken while out on a walk with the local Peaks Mountaineering Club.
