UPDATE Missing Cashel man makes contact with his family

A Cashel man who had not been seen by friends or family for over a week and a half has made contact with his family, The man Aonghus Ryan is said to be safe and well and his family have expressed thanks for all the online shares, concern and updates.

An appeal had been put out for information concerning the man who was living in Co. Meath after he had not been seen by friends or family for over a week and half ago. 

A CCTV photo showed Mr. Ryan when last seen wearing black runners, blue short and a Tipperary hoodie. He was wearing a hat and sunglasses and a backpack with a tent. He also wears glasses.

Aonghus, who is from the Ladyswell area of Cashel and living in Co. Meath, was last seen leaving on the Sligo bus towards Donegal /Derry direction. 

However, earlier today he made contact with his relieved family to say that he was safe and well.
