Tipp teenager to perform on Late Late Toy Show

A budding singer songwriter from west Tipperary is to appear on the Late Late Toy Show this Christmas.

Fourteen-year-old old , Kayley Glasheen from Lattin, just outside Tipperary town, has been selected for a part in a group performance for the Toy Show.

Kayley sent in her video clip some months ago and was called into live auditions in Cork a few weeks ago, which her grandparents took her to.

Anyone who knows Kayley, will tell you she has a beautiful singing voice, and would know her also from the 2016 St Ailbe school play in Tipperary town where she took one of the leading roles, playing Matilda, in "When I Grow up."

Following those live auditions in Cork she was soon called in to take part in rehearsals for the up and coming RTE Toy Show this December.

“We are all so proud of her,” says her mother Sarah.  “She has a solo part in a group performance but we can't say any more on the details as it's all very secret!”.
