Hunt for Light will help deserving causes.
The Premier Harrier Hunt Club announce that due to the huge success of last year, the now annual ‘Hunt for Light’ Hunt and Walk at night event will be taking place on Friday 29th December, at 7.30 p.m. in the Horse & Hound Dualla.
This year the event will be supporting three extremely deserving causes – South Tipperary Hospice, C-Saw Suicide Awareness & a new therapeutic saddle for local Alan Ryan.
The ‘Hunt for Light’ event will be a unique opportunity to see hounds work at night when quarry is most active.
All Equine and Walking Enthusiasts are welcome! Riders will need to be experienced with a suitable horse and jumping will not be a requirement.
We will host a BBQ afterwards at The Horse and Hound pub with some fabulous spot prizes from local tack shops for those that take part in the event.
We are looking for a donation of €20 for walkers and €50 for riders; you can pay on the night or fill a sponsorship card with the applicable amount.
So dust off the Christmas cobwebs and join us for a night of reflection and celebration with a bit of craic thrown in for good measure!
Thank you to everybody that attended the event last year, some fantastic causes received support – The South Tipperary Hospice, Embrace Farm (farm bereavement support), C-Saw Clonmel & Local Alex Butler, to help towards transport to his hospital appointments.
For more information on accommodation, overnight stabling or sponsorship cards please contact Susan Long – Premier Harrier Hunt Secretary 086-4108362 or check out our Facebook page! #huntforlight
