Carrick-on-Suir Wheelers to host three St Patrick's Day cycling races

Panduit Carrick Wheelers Cycling Club members are gearing up for the Club's St Patrick's Day Memorial Races. 

The Bobby Power Memorial, Tommy Sheehan Memorial and Landy Cup races are each limited to 80 riders, who must hold a valid 2018 licence. 

The 100km Bobby Power Memorial race is for A+, A1, A2 cyclists. It will be run over 3 laps, and start time will be 11am. The 100k Tommy Sheehan Memorial race for A3 Junior competitors is also over 3 laps and starts at 11.10am. 

And the 66km Landy Cup for A4 riders will be run over 2 laps. It starts at 11.20am. Entry to the races is by pre-entry only using the Cycling Ireland portal that opened on Monday, February 26 and will be accessible until Wednesday, March 14. 

 Entry fee costs €20 and no entries will be accepted on the day and there will be no one day licences. All who have pre-entered must sign in at race headquarters at the Swan Hurling Club Hall, Carrick-on-Suir from 9am to 10.30am.
