The group are calling for the appointment of a horse warden
A crowd of over 250 people gathered in Clonmel and marched from Irishtown to the Council offices led by two beautiful rescue ponies Beyonce and Spirit.
They all signed and delivered letters to the County Council. The group, led by the Mayor of Clonmel, chanted "What do we want'', A horse warden.. No excuse for animal abuse..
The group says that more protests will follow and a national protest will be on the cards for October.
"All we want is for the laws to be upheld and enforced. A horse warden would help greatly in getting the job done. With no more cruelty or unnecessary cruelty".
