Up to 50mm of rain to fall in next twenty four hours.
A Status Yellow rainfall alert has been issued for Tipperary.
Met Eireann has warned that in the twenty four hour period from Thursday afternoon to Friday afternoon, there’ll be between 30 and 50 mm of rain in many areas with a risk of flooding.
The alert is for counties Tipperary, Carlow, Kilkenny, Wexford, Cork, Kerry, Limerick and Waterford.
Meanwhile temperatures are set to fall to -3 to -4 nationwide tonight.
