Breaking: Tipperary County Council supports 109 local groups to the tune of €2.1million

109 groups in Tipperary will benefit from sports allocations.

Funds from development levies will help to drive €6 million investment in Tipperary

Tipperary County Council has this morning announced the allocation of €2.1 million to 109 community, sport and art projects throughout Tipperary.

The funds, derived from development levies, will help to provide more than €6 million of investment across all communities under the councils Scheme of Capital Grants for Community Facilities and Amenities. The scheme is a key element in the councils objective to support vibrant, sustainable and inclusive communities across the county to work in partnership with communities to deliver the infrastructure necessary to support this.

The grants, which were welcomed by all members of the council morning, range from €10,000 - €40,000.

See attached the groups in the various Municipal Districts which are to benefit from the grants.
