Tipperary crime update: Gardai seize drugs in Nenagh, Roscrea and Newport

The Gardai have made a number of drug seizures in the Nenagh Garda Division over the past week.

The follows on a number of seizures in the Nenagh and Roscrea areas earlier this month.

Several drug seizures were made in Roscrea, Newport and Nenagh over the past week.

A vehicle was searched and number of tablets were found at Cormack Drive, Nenagh, last Tuesday. The tablets have been sent for analysis and a file is being prepared for the DPP.

Another vehicle was stopped and searched at Ballymackeogh, Newport, last Friday. A large quantity of suspected cannabis was seized. A man was arrested and a file has been sent to the DPP.

The third seizure, which again involved cannabis, was made by Gardaí at Chapel Lane, Roscrea.
