Tipperary Lotto syndicate off to Dublin tomorrow to collect €17m jackpot

There will be no Friday morning blues for members of a Tipperary hardware business tomorrow.

Instead of clocking into work, members of the Lotto syndicate at Stakelums hardware store in Thurles are off to Dublin to collect the €17m won in the EuroMillions jackpot.

For the thirty plus members of the syndicate, that's a cool €530,000 each!

Their bus is due to arrive at Lotto HQ at noon.  Lotto staff will form a guard of honour to lead the winners into the building, where they will be welcomed by National Lottery CEO, Dermot Griffin.

They will then complete paper work with the Lotto claims team.

We hope they have a brilliant day.
