Congratulations to Dr. Niall Gregory, who was recently elected to the Presidium of the Charter of European Rural Communities, the vote took place on Saturday 16th June in Altes Kloster Hotel, Hainburg (near Vienna).

Dr Gregory told us he was honoured to have been elected, adding he was delighted that Cashel now has representation at the heart of the Charter and that he was looking forward to getting more deeply involved with the work of the presidium. As a collective of rural communities representing each EU country, the Presidium provides a strong and representative voice for all European citizens.
