Gardai are urging drivers to be aware of cyclists following Nenagh accident
Motorists are being urged to be vigilant of cyclists and pedestrians out early in the morning during the warm weather after a female cyclist was knocked down on Nenagh's N52 bypass.
The incident occurred near the Coolaholiga / Dromin Road junction at around 7.15am on Monday.
The sun was low and bright at the time and may have been blinding to drivers.
The cyclist, who was in her 50s, was taken to hospital by ambulance.
