The Vincents charity shop at Main Street in Carrick-on-Suir has won a regional award in the Vincents National Retail Awards.
The awards ceremony took place at Croke Park Stadium on June 28. Vincents store representatives from Carrick-on-Suir were presented with an award marking their mid-west regional win in the Vincents National Window Dressing Competition.
Five of the 22 Vincents shops in the region were nominated for the competition.
Manager Breda Kirby was thrilled with the honour and praised all the volunteers at Vincents who work hard and happily together as a great team.
Breda thanks all the community of Carrick-on-Suir and its hinterland for their donations and all the hard work of the volunteers in the shop who contribute to the shop window dressing.
They include: Rose Power, Alice Rivers, Margaret Power, Evelyn Hanlon, Nicky Cullen, Danielle Kenny, Elaine McGrath, Joan Maher, Rozanna Merkaj, Dashuri Saraci Ukcamaj, Michelle Crowe Assistant Manager, Valerie Curtis and Helen Power.
The store's next window display will feature back to school items. Vincents would love if you have any items at home worth donating like uniforms, books, bags, shoes and stationery.
