The ladies from Network Ireland North Tipperary conquered their fears recently by completing a 10,000 ft tandem parachute jump in aid of Rape Crisis Midwest.
They presented a cheque for €1500 to the charity in their local Rape Crisis Centre in Nenagh.
Rape Crisis Midwest provides support and information for survivors of Rape, Sexual Assault and all other forms of Sexual Violence and adult survivors of Childhood Sexual Abuse. They have centres in Limerick, Ennis and Nenagh.
Every year the network commits to supporting a local charity and were very proud to support the work of the Rape Crisis centre.
While five of the members, Aileen Delaney, Brid Harrington, Triona Fitzgerald, Niamh Egan and Camelia Shanahan completed the parachute jump, the event was support by all members.
