Tipperary woman and founder of homeless agency Trust, Alice Leahy, to launch memoir

                            Alice Leahy, Director of Services at Alice Leahy Trust, will launch her memoir, ‘The Stars Are Our Only Warmth,’ in the Abymill Theatre, Fethard on Thursday, October 11, at 7.30pm. 

Alice, formally from Annesgift, Fethard, when speaking about her new book said, “It was important that a launch should take place in Fethard, the place where I grew up and experienced all that was good about community.”

The launch in the Abymill Theatre is an open event and all are welcome to attend.

Guest speakers include Fran Curry, Tipp FM; and journalist Catherine Cleary, with time allowed for discussion and light refreshments. Master of Ceremonies for the night will be Jimmy O’Sullivan.  

The book is published by O’Brien Press, the long established and well-known Irish family publishing company who will ensure books are available for sale at the launch.  All royalties from the book go directly to the Alice Leahy Trust.
