Gardai advise Co. Tipperary motorists not to leave valuables in their vehicles after handbag stolen from car 

Gardai are seeking the public's help in tracing the thief who stole a handbag from a car parked in the Golden area yesterday (Sunday) afternoon. 

The car parked in an area known as the Blue Lagoon at Rathgallen between Bansha and Golden was broken into sometime between 4pm and 5pm yesterday. 

The thief gained entry to the vehicle by breaking the rear window. 

In the wake of the car break-in, Tipperary Garda Station spokesman advised motorists to not leave valuables in their vehicles when they park them. 

He appealed to anyone who saw suspicious activity in the area where this theft took place or who has any information that may assist their investigation to contact Tipperary Garda Station at (062) 51212.
