The children of Cahir and local areas are really looking forward to the Tractor Parade and Santa's Grotto
On Saturday, December 3, the official switching on of the Cahir Christmas lights will take place at 6pm on the Square.
Once again the Christmas Tractor Parade of tractors, trucks, & bikes will take place hosted by Dualla Ploughing Association in aid of South Tipperary Hospice.
Registration for this parade is from 5pm at Woodview Service Station and all vehicles will Parade through the town starting at 6pm. Contact Mike Cunningham at 086 6009290 Registration is €20.
The Kiddies parade of Tractors and Bikes decorated with lights will start at the Castle Car Park from 6pm too, along with the Parade of Nations organised by The Cahir International Club.

Santa’s Grotto is back again in its usual location of the tourist office on Saturday, December 3 from 6-8pm after the Parade of tractors in lights and once again on December 10 from 2pm – 6pm and Sunday, December 11 from 2pm – 6pm.
Admission is €5 and includes a present.
Santa and Mrs Claus look forward to meeting all the children once again!
