Preparations underway in Newcastle for 100th anniversary of the death of General Liam Lynch

The 100th anniversary of the death of General Liam Lynch will be marked in Newcastle and the Knockmealdown mountains in April

The General Liam Lynch commemoration weekend will take place in Newcastle and the Knockmealdown mountains on April 8, April 9 and April 10 this year.

This year marks the 100th anniversary of the death of General Liam Lynch. A series of historical talks, guided walks and other events will be held over the weekend.
