The Coláiste Mhuire Co-Ed swim team of Alex Maher third year, Seán Maher first-year, and Mary Keogh TY represented our school with great pride and effort in the Munster Senior Schools Competition in UL last Sunday.
While all competitors swam excellently a special mention must go to our youngest swimmer Seán who put in a very solid performance on the big stage where he set a good time in each of his races and will learn from the occasion for going forward.
Mary and Alex both swam very well, on par with their goals for the gala, with both gaining personal best & second personal best times, respectively, while finishing in the top 20 in a very tough competition.
Contributed to School Days in the Tipperary Star.
