Coláiste Mhuire choir of 85 students who took to the stage at the Tipp ETB Talent Concert

Thursday, March 2, witnessed an exceptional evening of talent in The Dome in front of a full house as ten ETB schools in Tipperary showcased the very best of talent in the annual Tipp ETB Talent Concert.

447 students competed on the night in a vast array of acts ranging from Rock, Traditional, Classical, Jazz and other musical genres that also included, Hiphop, set Dancing and an Elvis Medley! Every conceivable instrument was played by students, from trumpets, concertinas, fiddles, flutes to cellos, violas and saxophones, all to the highest of standards.

Coláiste Mhuire Co-Ed under the excellent tutoring of Ms Wallace, Ms Lowth & Ms Geaney saw a choir of 85 students take to the stage where they sang Oceans and Viva La Vida.

All those in attendance witnessed a superb evening of music that was deemed uplifting and incredible.

A huge word of thanks also to our TY stage crew who worked tirelessly assembling & diassembling the stage and to to Triona and her fabulous canteen team who fed all the participants on the night before heading home. Maith sibh arís ‘chuile dhuine a ghlac páirt chun oíche den scoth a chur le chéile agus dar ndóigh dos’ na daltaí go léir a chan ar an stáitse. Mol an Óige agus tiocfaidh sí.
