Denis Kelly will be hoping his side can return to winning ways and keep their chance of reaching a league final alive this Saturday when they play host to Clare in Round 4 of the league.
With wins over Galway and Dublin and a narrow defeat to Cork it’s been a productive campaign so far for Tipperary with lots of players impressing to date and the side showing plenty of good form.
Clare come to Tipp off the back of two defeats to Galway and Cork but also an impressive opening round win over All-Ireland Champions Kilkenny.
Both teams will be well used to playing each other having met three times in the space of a few weeks last year in the Munster and All-Ireland championships, which resulted in two draws and a win for Clare. Saturday’s game should be an intriguing battle with both teams eager for a win.
