IN PICTURES: Tipp youngster impress at County Swimming Championships in Thurles

The Community Games County Swimming finals took place on Sunday 19th March 2023 in Thurles Swimming Pool.

A full programme of events took place with swimmers from all over the county participating. Huge thanks to Thurles swimming pool for the use of their facilities, and especially to all the many volunteers who contributed to the efficient running of this event.

Well done to all the children who swam on the day, for some it was their first time in a swimming competition and congratulations to all the medal winners. Congratulations to Thurles who were the winners of the Emer Hayes, Perpetual Cup.

The swimmer who claimed the gold medal in each event now goes forward to represent Tipperary in the national Community games finals to be held on May 13th 2023 in Castlebar, Co.Mayo.
