LATE RICHIE O'SULLIVAN
There was deep shock and sadness when the news filtered through that Richie O’Sullivan, Heathfield, Clogheen had passed to his eternal reward.
Richie was a true gentleman and a great community activist and always was on hand to help with community work. Richie loved being involved in running the weekly 45 card game in Clogheen, where he would set out the hall every Wednesday night for the cards and then would play himself with his playing partner Johnny Corbett, and would also attend other card games locally.
Richie worked for years with Dairygold Co-Op in Clogheen and then moved to Mitchelstown branch where he made many friends.
He is survived by his wife Margaret nee Hennessey, daughters Noreen and Martina, grandchildren Tom, Hannah and Katie, brother Jimmy, sisters Ann Condon and Carmel and all his extended family.
Following removal from his home to Clogheen Church following requiem mass he was laid to rest in Shanrahan Cemetery.
May his kind and gentle soul rest in peace.

BRIAN BORUS LGFA
Brian Borus U21 final
On Monday week last, May 1, at a sunny Bansha venue, Brian Boru’s took on Cahir in the U-21 division 2 final. With Cahir coming into the game as firm favourites Borus would have it all to do.
From the throw-in this was a hum dinger with both sides producing great scores. For Borus from number one all the the way through the field to the girls that came off the bench with huge impact, our girls are to be complimented on their attitude and work rate which in turn produced some of the best football this team brought to the opposition. Such an honest display along with the pride in their club jersey that each girl gave and fought to end to come away as champions again in this competition which they also won in 2022.
Winning on a scoreline of
Brian Borus 1-13 Cahir. 3-5
