The County Tipperary Ryan Youth Orchestra had its Awards Night with Concert recently to a large audience of family and friends.
The County Tipperary Ryan Youth Orchestra member Ian Ryan from Mantlehill, Golden, who is a son of local Vet William and Thomastown National School teacher, Joanne Ryan, was awarded the CTRYO Member of the Year 2022 / 2023.
Ian plays the violin in The County Tipperary Ryan Youth Orchestra and is a Rockwell College student. Ian is a grade seven Violin Student of the Ryan Academy of Music Tipperary Town.
The Member of the Year Award is a Special Certificate in honour of his musical contribution to the success of the County Tipperary Ryan Youth Orchestra and his full participation in all six concerts and full participation in all rehearsals.
