The Thurles Sarsfields initiative Jersey 4 life is proving a great success in raising much needed funds for the Dillion Quirke Foundation.
Community Activist Tommy Barrett recently contacted Man Utd Football club to seek the club's support for this project. Manchester United very kindly donated a fully signed team jersey that will be auctioned on the Jersey 4 life website over the coming days and weeks and will surely draw a lot of attention and a big price to go with it.
This will surely draw a lot of attention from the club's many fans throughout Tipperary. The initiative has so far been a roaring success with GAA stars and celebrities, along with the general GAA public all showing real solidarity to come out in force and donate some really impressive pieces of jersey memorabilia, with all proceeds going towards a very worthy cause.
