Children and teenagers fashion design camp takes place in NAC this July from the 3rd to the 5th. Children will upcycle second-hand shirts which will focus on creative workshops re-designing and re-imagining second-hand men's cotton shirts!
This camp consists of a 2 hour workshop each day over 3 days, and in this time participants will transform some old cotton shirts into something new and fun. All are welcome to this gender-neutral camp.
On July 4th at 6pm photographer Pádraig Ó Flannabhra will launch ÉIRE DUBH & BÁN / IRELAND BLACK & WHITE which is the new collection of images depicting a particular vision of people, places and events in Ireland today. There will also be a coffee morning which takes place on the first Friday of every month at 10 am. All artists working and living in North Tipperary are welcome. The coffee meetup is an opportunity to meet other artists in the area, connect and share ideas in a relaxed and informal setting.
It is also an opportunity to meet with the Artistic Director and find out more about how we support artists in the region. Tea, coffee, and biscuits will be supplied.
Also on Wednesday the 19th at 10am there is an chance to "Chat & Clay" and meet Kay O'Donoghue - the new outreach artist, who will run this new fantastic workshop!
At this event you will have a chance not only to learn how to work with clay but also you will be able to chat with Kay about what activities would you like to do in the next few months.
