Carrick-on-Suir Triathlon Club announces plans for annual Barry McCarthy Memorial Swim Races

The 13th annual Barry McCarthy Memorial Swim Races take place in the River Suir at Seán Healy Park, Carrick-on-Suir on Saturday, July 15. 

The charity swim races, run by Carrick-on-Suir Triathlon Club, are a popular practice run for athletes planning to compete in the annual Carrick-on-Suir Triathlon, which this year takes place on Sunday, July 23. 

Registration for the Barry McCarthy Swims opens at 3pm on Saturday and the first race starts at 4.30pm. Race distances are: 500m, 750m and 1,500m. 

All funds raised from the swims will be donated to South Tipperary Hospice. Tel: (087) 4177545 for information on the event.
