Cara Ryan on her way to winning the high jump event
On Saturday last Clonmel Athletic Club witnessed the round up of the track and field events for our juveniles.
Cara Ryan proved yet again that her hard work married with a natural talent produces magnificent results.
At the weekend she picked up national titles in both the high jump (1.60m) and the long jump (5.19m).
Cara continued to support her friend from North Cork AC, Ciara Whelan who placed in silver position.
Cara works hard, but is such a wonderful sportsperson, she is thrilled to support and encourage others around her.
Congratulations Cara!!! We are so very proud of you, not just for your achievements, but for being the kind, supportive, humble girl we all love to hang out with.
Hopefully you will have a great summer break and we are looking forward to seeing where the next season brings you.
