Get along to Templemore to try out footgolf
A footgolf tournament is set to take Templemore by storm! A novel event is scheduled to take place on 5th, 6th and 7th August over the bank holiday weekend.
Monies raised will assist the the local football club, BT Harps, in achieving their long term goal of developing the facilities and a full size Astro Pitch at the Michael Fennell Park, Templemore.
For those new to the sport, footgolf is similar to golf, the aim of the game is to get your football in the hole with as few kicks as possible over 9 holes. It is suitable for all ages, male and female. The fee for a player to take part in the tournament is €15 per adult and €5 per child.
Get along to Michael Fennell Park, Priory Pl, Kiltillane, Templemore, Co. Tipperary this bank holiday weekend to see if you can get a hole-in-one with a difference!
