Shanbally House & Gardens outside Nenagh will host Munster’s first large scale health and wellness festival, Elevate FitFest, on Saturday, August 19 and Sunday, August 20.

The festival will feature over 30 acts, speakers, and presenters across the weekend, including some of Ireland’s best-known health and wellness experts: Brian Keane from Brian Keane Fitness, Aisling Fox from AOK Nutrition, Trisha Lewis from Trisha’s Transformation, Daniella Moyles from The Still, Aoife Hannon from The Pilates Programme, and Sinead Brady, The Career Psychologist, among many others.

Promoter Kate Duggan said: “We have an ethos of ‘health through nature’ at Shanbally House and invite you to experience a 360 approach to health and wellbeing.

“This festival is an opportunity for you to take time out from everyday life, reinvest in yourself, try out different activity and movement-based classes, interact with some amazing Irish companies and brands, and make new connections.”

The festival will host a large food village and Kate promises that the dedicated talk tent will leave you wanting to reset your mind and life. In addition, the immensely fun Coppers, the Workout is guaranteed to deliver belly laughs and an all-round great time, she says.

Activities over the weekend will range from Zumba and self-defence classes to the global rock workout POUND, to more Zen vibes, including mindfulness classes, talks, tips for better sleep, expert nutritionists offering advice on how to optimise your diet, a games area, lifting and strength stations, individual and gym challenges, on top of grounding sessions, walled garden tours and educational talks.

Shanbally House and Gardens is a 200-acre property just 10 minutes outside Nenagh. It hosts corporate training events, team building activities, international retreats, all with a holistic approach.

The organic certified lands grow organic oats for Flahavans and other cereal crops. It is also the largest medicinal herb farm in Ireland, growing over 120 medicinal herbs with a dedicated processing facility specialising in herbal extractions.
