The cast and crew from the Nenagh Players who took part in Heritage Week
Following on from their success in taking part in this year’s Heritage Week, with two performances in The Store, the Nenagh Players have now turned their attention to their autumn production and the start of their 80th anniversary.
This year, the Players have chosen the hilarious comedy, Boeing-Boeing, by Marc Camoletti.
This French farce, which has had runs on Broadway and in the West End, was first staged by the Players in the 1970s.
Boeing-Boeing tells the exploits of bachelor Bernard and his female flight attendants - three flight attendants, to be exact, from three different countries - and they all believe they’re engaged to Bernard.
But the advent of faster jet planes means Bernard has to keep more than his love life in the air as he juggles with their unexpected arrival on the same day.
Auditions will be held on September 5 and September 7 in The Store, Hanly Place, at 7.30pm.
The show will be staged in Nenagh Arts Centre from November 22 to November 26.
