Aherlow, Thurles Sarsfields, Galtee Rovers and Grangemockler/Ballyneale are all in action

Intermediate Football Championship semi-finals are down for decision in Tipperary this weekend

Both semi-finals will be played on Saturday

Both FBD Insurance County Intermediate Football Championship semi-finals are fixed for this Saturday, October 7.

First up at 2pm, Aherlow face Thurles Sarsfields in Leahy Park, Cashel. Aherlow will play in a first semi-final since 1995, when they defeated Moyne/Templetuohy.

Thurles Sarsfields will be playing be playing in a first county semi-final since 2009 when they were defeated by Carrick Swan. They will be looking to reach a first county final in the grade.

At 4pm in New Inn, Galtee Rovers/St Pecaun's face Grangemockler/Ballyneale. It will be a repeat of their 2021 semi-final, which saw Grangemockler/Ballyneale advance to the county final.

This will be Galtee Rovers' second semi-final appearance in three seasons, as they look to reach a first final.

Grangemockler/Ballyneale will be aiming to reach a third final in four seasons.
