Slieve Felim Rapparees counting the kilometres today as their Walkathon fundraiser gets underway

The "Walkathon" is ongoing throughout Saturday afternoon and evening.

A big day is underway for the Slieve Felim Rapparees in Drombane GAA pitch as their "Walkathon" is ongoing at present. A great turnout is expected all morning and afternoon as the wider community comes together for the club.

The Rapparees compete in Ladies Football and Camogie at grades up from juvenile level.

The club operates in the shadow of the Slieve Felim hills and comprise players from Kilcommon, Drombane, Hollyford, Upperchurch and the surrounding hinterland.

There will be plenty of activities around the GAA grounds today with cakes and other goodies on offer. If you get a chance, get along on the day or donate now. The club can be contacted through their facebook page.
