Thurles set to host the Munster senior club final on the first Sunday in December

Semple Stadium, Thurles

Semple Stadium will host supporters for the Munster club final

Thurles will host this year's Munster AIB Munster Club Hurling Championship Final where Ballygunner of Waterford will take on Clonlara from Clare.

The Deise side accounted for Na Pairsaigh last Sunday with a strong finish while Clonlara started fast and build up an early lead against Tipperary representatives Kiladangan who had two players red carded.

Ballygunner will start as red-hot favourites to account for the underdogs from Clare, but with players of the calibre of John Conlon involved the dogged Clare representatives will have a real go after winning tight games in their county championship and in their semi final.

The following hurling fixtures were confirmed tonight following a meeting of the Munster CCC:

AIB Munster Club Senior Hurling Championship Final

Sunday December 3rd at 3:30pm in FBD Semple Stadium Thurles
