Mid Tipperary titans clash later on under Tuesday night lights

There is plenty of action on the GAA front tonight where the crisp air will add to the setting for the with the Gleeson Quarries Mid Senior Football Semi Final which is taking place under lights.

Loughmore Castleiney will take on county finalists JK Brackens this evening in Drombane in what is always a keenly contested match between these two historical rivals. 

Loughmore have mopped up the titles across the decades but the rise of other challengers to their crown in recent years has meant they needed to be at the top of their game.

This is the second semi final, in a competition without a link to the county series, as Upperchurch Drombane are already waiting in the decider having secured a narrow victory over Drom Inch a number of weeks ago.
