Tipperary GAA clubs have seen Christmas come early with the news that Limerick billionaire JP McManus has donated €1 million to every county in Ireland.
The substantial figure is due to be divided among the many clubs across Tipperary including the LGFA and the Camogie clubs.
This is the second donation that McManus has given to clubs across Ireland as he kindly gave every county board €100,000 to split evenly across the three codes to coincide with Limerick winning their first All-Ireland Hurling title in 45 years back in 2018.
It's now less than three weeks until we see both the Tipperary footballers and hurlers back in action with both teams playing preseason competitions in the first few weeks of January.
