Jockey Rachael Blackmore was back in the winner's enclosure on New Year's Day when Bob Olinger was an impressive winner at Cheltenham.

Returning to the track where he has enjoyed two Festival successes, in the 2021 Ballymore Novices' Hurdle and in the 2022 Turners Novices' Chase, the 6/4 favourite stormed up the hill to win the Dornan Engineering Relkeel Hurdle.

Trained by Henry de Bromhead, he was followed home by Maries Rock in second place and Brewin'upastorm in third.

The nine-year-old, who races in the colours of Robcour, which is owned by Clonmel businessman Brian Acheson, now looks destined for a shot at the Aintree Hurdle.

Rachael Blackmore told The Racing Post: "That's the best he's ever jumped. He carried me into the race beautifully and rode like the horse he was. He obviously lost his way a bit last season, but it's great to get him back".
