Paul Kelly has named his first Tipperary football team for tomorrow's McGrath Cup opener away to Kerry in Austin Stack Park.
There are plenty of new names and faces on the panel for the daunting 2024 opener against kingpins, most notably the inclusion of Paddy Creedon who has thrown his lot in with the footballers for the coming year, after failing to nail a place in Liam Cahill's hurling setup last year.
Likewise, Shane Neville of Lattin Cullen and now Cratloe has also been drafted in while there is a brand new addition to the panel in the form of Jack Rodgers on the bench. Rodgers from Naas is playing for Tipperary under the parental rule, with his father originally from Cashel.
Kieran Costello of Thurles Sarsfields starts at number seven after impressing in trials before Christmas, while former underage Tipperary hurler Kyle Shelly appears on the substitutes bench. Tomorrow's game throws in at 7.30 pm. See the full panel below.
