Rosegreen were successful in their motion to amend a county bylaw about juvenile player eligibility where two or more clubs share the same catchment area, which is their situation with neighbours Cashel King Cormacs.
Brought to the Tipperary GAA County Convention in December and passed with flying colours by delegates, it means that going forward, a juvenile player having established his first club may only transfer to another club in the same catchment area with the agreement of both clubs, i.e., both clubs sign the transfer form.
This has been a well documented controversy around Gaelic Games in the Cashel area, with the issue coming to a head early in 2023 with numerous Rosegreen players transferring to Cashel King Cormacs.
