Michael Kennedy of Newcastle has been appointed to referee next weekend's All Ireland Intermediate Hurling Final between Corks Castlelyons and Thomastown which takes place in Croke Park on Saturday at 7 pm.
The game will be broadcast live on TG4 and Tipperary GAA wished Michael the very best of luck after the news of his appointment.
