The re-convened election for Vice Chairperson Tipperary GAA will take place next Tuesday, January 23rd in the Dome Thurles, and there will be an added layer of adjudication ahead of the vote.
Back in December, the vote for electing the Vice-Chairman of the Tipperary County Board was scuppered after an administration error meant that too many votes were collected about the cards given out, which meant that the vote was voided on the night and another meeting would be needed to fill the position.
As such, Tipperary GAA has taken extra precautions and, after the voting station closes, all votes will be collected by the Divisional Secretaries and counted under the supervision of a member of Tipperary County Council.
Candidates Michael Tierney (Borris-Ileigh) and Mark McLoughlin (Roscrea) will be in attendance and one of them will become the new Vice-Chairman of the Tipperary GAA County Board.
