Cait Devane is not part of the Tipperary panel announced by Toomevara native Denis Kelly

Tipperary Senior Manager Denis Kelly has announced his panel ahead of the VERY Ireland National Division 1A League which is just around the corner. The panel boasts the vast majority of last years championship team however star forward Cait Devane is a notable absentee from the squad announced for the early season matches. 

The Clonoulty Rossmore stalwart picked up an All-Star award for her displays across 2023 and her absence from the team will be a big blow to Tipperary hopes for the year ahead.

The other All-Star winner last year - Thurles Sarsfields Karen Kennedy - is available as well as key players such as Aoife McGrath and Roisin Howard. A notable inclusion is Jean Kelly who made a big impact for the Tipperary junior team last summer and will get an opportunity to shine during the league. 

Tipperary reached the All-Ireland semi final last summer where they were beaten by Waterford but did garner success earlier in the year when they bridged a 13 year gap to win the Munster championship beating Clare in the decider at Thurles. 

The coming season sees the league get underway next month and Tipperary will renew acquaintances with Waterford in their opening Division 1A National League R1 encounter. Here is the panel in full:
