The 2 Johnnies from Tipperary
The Tipperary Association Dublin’s annual awards function will be held on Saturday 27 April next in the Louis Fitzgerald Hotel, Newlands Cross at 2.00pm when the Tipperary Person of the year for 2023 will be presented to the well known duo of John O’Brien and John McMahon, better known as The 2 Johnnies.
The previous awards winners list is extensive and includes many well known household names such as Padraig Maher who was the last winner of the award last year as well as GAA duo Brendan Maher and Seamus Callanan who were the 2019 inductees.
Irish Paralympian, Peter Ryan of Upperchurch was chosen as Tipperary Person of the Year by the Association previously while other winners include Dennis Floyd, Michael Ryan , Martin Quinn and former Tipperary football manager David Power who won the award in 2011.
As always a great night is guaranteed and also on the night, the Hall of Fame award for 2023 will be presented to singer and songwriter Brendan Graham.
