Motorists asked to be 'patient' by Tipp County Council after new traffic flow implemented

Tipperary County Council Cathaoirleach is appealing to people in Nenagh to be patient as they get used to the new one-way traffic system.

The newly implemented traffic system - which began on Thursday, April 11th last - has caused a lot of confusion and frustration among locals and despite officials placing personnel at the new routes in the town, it has still caused a certain amount of consternation.

Vehicles now need to make righthand turns around Emmet Place, Kickham St, Pearse St, and Mitchell St – with the traffic on Silver St going in the opposite direction to how it was before.
