Up to 500 fish die in Tipperary due to suspected river pollution case

Some 500 fish were discovered dead in a Tipperary river earlier this week in a suspected case of river pollution it was confirmed by Inland Fisheries Ireland.

The case was discovered in the Upper reaches of the Kings River near Ballingarry, where large numbers of Trout and Salmon Parr of all ages were found dead.

Inland Fisheries Ireland announced that an ongoing investigation was in process over the disturbing finding.
