Popular river walk in big Tipperary town earmarked by Councillor for 'development'

Nenagh Councillor Hughie McGrath has called for an enhancement of the Nenagh River Walk which is hugely popular with locals in the town.

Speaking at the Municipal District Meeting recently, he said that the walkway is used regularly by locals in the town, and added that St. John’s Well - which is located on the trail - is a “hidden jewel”.

He asked the Council if further enhancements could take place on the route and it is something that should be explored in the future.
