It's been a successful month for Moycarkey Coolcrue's popular Hammer Thrower Sean Mockler representing Indiana University as he broke his own college record in the Hammer in Bloomington Indiana on Friday May 3rd, pushing his mark to 68.82m/225-09.
He is now ranked in the top-20 in the USA NCAA, with the 17th best mark. Sean most recently competed in the Big 10 Outdoor Track and Field Championships in Ann Arbor Michigan on Friday May 10th which is the Blue ribbon event in the NCAA calendar.
Sean Mockler led 'the Hoosiers' after he scored six points with a third-place finish in the Hammer throw. He won his second bronze medal in his career with a throw of 66.78m/219-1 in the finals. 
Mockler faced some challenges throughout the indoor and outdoor seasons that required patience and it paid off today with a positive result and a podium finish for the Hoosiers.
"Despite facing setbacks, we've tailored a specialized program for him this season to ensure he can strive towards his full potential," assistant coach for throws Megan Tomei said, adding "we continue to anticipate more developments as we approach the postseason."
